Our Mission
The purpose of the Fort Calhoun Vocal Music Department is to provide a safe, positive environment that encourages students to be creative, work hard as individuals and as a team, and to deepen their understanding and knowledge of the world around them through the art of choral singing. In order to accomplish this, the students will develop a variety of skills and performance techniques through the study and performance of a variety of musical repertoires. Other goals of the program include fostering a lifelong love of music and teaching the students the value of dedication, hard work, collaboration, respect, and responsibility.
