Our embryology unit started April 18th and ended up with 8 chicks hatching on May 9th and 10th. The students learn about the different ways eggs are used. They learn about the different parts of the egg and how the chick develops. We candle the eggs and make sure we keep our incubator at 100 degrees and keep the humidity up. Jovi Greiner stated “my favorite part was getting to see the eggs hatch after all of our hard work in taking care of them.”
