Who’s in charge?

 

POPP is different than most clubs because there isn’t really a membership requirement because all junior and senior high students are invited to participate in any of our events.
We do use “steering committees” to help with structuring some of our events.  But our goal is through numerous event committees to give as many students as possible an opportunity to step up and lead!
Mrs. Hernandez is our organization’s sponsor.  But a big part of our success is the all important parents that donate their time, money, and lots of food for our events – FC’s POSSE (Parents Organizing Safe Student Events).  We also collaborate with various groups in the Omaha and Washington County community to accomplish our goals.  Some of our partners include:  Washington County LiveWise 40, Project Extra Mile, and TeamMates.
