Fort Calhoun High School requires that students pass a minimum number of credits to graduate.  The credits are obtained by taking both “Required” and “Elective” Courses.  Required Courses must be passed by all students in order to graduate.  Elective Courses are classes that students select to gain experiences in specific areas of studies that interest them.  Each course carries the weight of 5 credits per semester.  In order for a student to receive credit for a course, he/she must receive a passing grade at the end of each semester.

PE/Health – 15
Computer Applications – 5
Math – 30
History – 30
General Business – 5
Science – 30
Fine Arts – 10
Communications – 5

*Total of 240 minimum credits are required for graduation.
