Head Coach Marty Plum
Coach Plum will be beginning his first season as head girls basketball coach at Fort Calhoun schools for the 2020-21 season. Coach Plum comes to Fort Calhoun after a thirteen-year stint at Skutt Catholic in Omaha, where he ran up a 181-129 record during that time. With a one year stint added to Coach Plum’s resume from Gothenburg (NE), his overall record as a head coach is 197-135. Coach Plum also spent time as an assistant coach at Skutt Catholic (three seasons), Sioux City Heelan (one season), and Briar Cliff College (six seasons); his overall record as a coach is 430-194, which includes five national tournament appearances, one Final Four (2001), five state tournament appearances, one state runner-up (2005), two-state semi-final appearances (2006, 2010) and eight district finals appearances. Coach Plum is employed as a history teacher at Skutt Catholic, and he also owns and operates a podcast entitled “A Pen And A Napkin”.

Assistant Coach Jordan Coulter
Coach Coulter will be beginning her first season as a volunteer assistant coach at Fort Calhoun. She was a Fort Calhoun graduate in 2016 and just finished her Bachelor’s degree with a double major in Psychology and Business Administration-Management with a Sport Management concentration from Northwestern College last May. Coach Coulter played basketball at Northwestern College for her first two years then finished her final two years of college as a girls basketball coach at Unity Christian High School. She was the assistant for the JV and Varsity teams at Unity and helped take Varsity to the state tournament in 2019. She also served as the Head Freshman coach her final year, leading the team to a .500 record.
