Travel Information:

NSBA MARCHING FESTIVAL, LINCOLN  at Seacrest Field

Saturday, October 25   tentative schedule 

*FIELD REVIEW – 10:00 a.m. SHARP!  in place

(arrive BY 9:45 at the latest) (in UNIFORM pants unless you hear different)

(EAT before you come.  You need energy at 3:30.  You might want a light sack lunch for after Field Review.)

*We  play at 3:30.

*We will see Class 3A Bands…               Weather should be decent, low 60’s, but cloudy, maybe a bit breezy.    Also..not too bad for FIELD REVIEW.  (by Monday’s 5-day forecast.)

…then CLASS 1A, 2A & 3A  AWARDS  (6:45)

*Leave to eat supper somewhere..and

*Hopefully celebrate a “I”.

*1st Bus should be home 10:00 ish;

*Late bus back to stadium and home at 12:15 AM ish. 

 *PERFORMANCE ATTIRE:   Full Uniform—     with ULTRA CLEAN, WHITE SHOES

TRAVEL ATTIRE:    MOST LIKELY UNIFORM PANTS.  No Dressing rooms at contest site:  Restrooms at best.   NOTE:  SWEATS are NOT acceptable travel attire;  NOT TODAY NOR ANY OTHER BAND TRIP EVER! 

MISC:  • Bring:  Something warmer for after sundown, 

    It’s always cool after sundown in late October.

Salad Safari- next day, Sunday, Apr 27

Exact work assignments will be decided on Friday, but the event runs from 11:00 am too 2:00 pm on Sunday, with clean up to  follow.  JAZZ BAND will need to report by 12:45 for a 1:00 performance slot.  Solos and ensembles will take place all through event.  Others will need to help serve.
