COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Expand on the knowledge gained in previous art courses. Develop a better understanding of the elements and principles of design. This will be accomplished by using different media with each project having an emphasis on one or more of the elements of art or principles of design. Some of the medias to be used will involve pencils, markers, ink, pastels, watercolors, acrylics, computers, cameras, digital photography, clay, plaster, and collages. Students will also develop an understanding that art is a visual language. Students will be evaluated over this information as well as critique themselves and one another.
