Students Attend Law Enforcement Open House

On Friday, March 1st, Mrs. Hernandez, FC High School Counselor, accompanied a group of students to the Law Enforcement Open House that was sponsored by the Nebraska National Guard 402nd Military Police Battalion at the Readiness Center near Bennington.  There, students from around the Omaha area, learned more about Military Police Communications, Vehicles, Weapons, and Security / Movement Ops. There was also a career fair featuring several area Sheriff Departments, the Omaha Police Department, and the DEA.

FCHS students attending were:  Jefferey Pringle, Aimee Boyd, Adyn Kane, Samantha Ladwig, Riley Lingle, and Colton Kendall.

Teen Night at the Blair YMCA

Teen Night was a huge success! Students had a blast and we received many compliments about how well they behaved. Go Pioneers!

March 1, 2024

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We are excited to announce Teen Night at the Blair YMCA on Friday, March 22nd! This event promises to be a fun-filled evening for our teenagers, with activities and opportunities for them to socialize in a safe and supervised environment. To make things even more convenient, we have arranged transportation to and from the event.

The event will take place from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with the bus departing from Fort Calhoun Jr/Sr High at 5:30 PM and returning at 9:30 PM. Please ensure that your teen arrives on time to catch the bus.

The cost of the event is free for members and $10.00 for nonmembers.  The school has graciously agreed to pay $5.00 so that the student admission to the event is only $5.00 out of pocket.

We are also seeking volunteers to chaperone this event. If you are willing to lend a helping hand and ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, please let us know. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Click here to sign your student up for this event.  If you have any questions, reach out to Jacque Fischer,

Thank you for your support, and we look forward to seeing your teens at Teen Night!

The flyer says 6th-8th graders however, we are only taking Junior High students this year.
