NOTICE OF BOARD OF EDUCATION COMMITTEE ON AMERICAN CIVICS AND EDUCATION

Notice is hereby given that the Committee on American Civics and Education Meeting of the Fort Calhoun Community Schools Board of Education has been called. The meeting will be held on Wednesday August 5, 2020 at 8:30 AM in the Office Conference Room of Fort Calhoun High School, 5876 County Road P43, Fort Calhoun, NE 68023.

An Agenda for such meeting is being kept continuously current and is available for public inspection at the Office of the Superintendent.

Congratulations Tyler Strauss

Tyler Strauss competed in the 62nd Nebraska Shrine Bowl on July 11th.  Tyler was one of 76 high school football players in the state of Nebraska that was asked to play in this prestigious all-star football game.  Tyler competed on the North Team and represented Fort Calhoun very well.  Tyler plans to join the Morningside football program in the fall.  

 

New Student Registration

Fort Calhoun Elementary School registration will be August 5 & 6 from 9:00AM to 3:00PM.  Parents should begin the registration process at the District Office, 5876 County Road P43. Parents will need to bring an original birth certificate and a complete record of immunizations.  For more information regarding registering your K-6th student, contact the elementary school office at 402.468.5714.

Fort Calhoun Jr-Sr High grades 7th – 12th registration will take place by appointment on August 5 and 6 from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Please contact the high school office at 402.468.5591 to set up an appointment to meet with the school counselor. To register, parents will need to bring an original birth certificate and a complete record of immunizations. For high school students, it is also helpful to bring a copy of the student’s last report card and a copy of their transcript.
