COURSE DESCRIPTION:
High school students will take two college level courses as an extension of MCC campus to offer college credit to Fort Calhoun seniors. Students will study models and write compositions in the following genres: narrative, descriptive, expository, persuasive writing, problem solving, argumentative, compare/contrast, and literary analysis and construct a writing portfolio. Students will read and analyze selections as models and complete laboratories to develop writing skills. Students will complete English 1010-English Composition I and English 1020-Composition II.
