COURSE DESCRIPTION:
In Advanced Algebra/Trigonometry, the student further studies the topics that were covered in Algebra II and adds topics in trigonometry. The topics of linear relations and functions are expanded in the area of algebra. Trigonometric topics are trigonometric functions and graphs, polar coordinates, and conic sections. Units on logarithms, discrete math, probability, and statistics are included in order to prepare juniors for the spring NeSA and ACT tests.
