January 25-31, 2026, is School Board Member Week in Nebraska. We would like to take a moment to thank our School Board members, who are locally elected volunteers. We appreciate the time you spend on our school and students. To learn more about our Board, click this LINK.

Congratulations to our local Spelling Bee winners. At the Elementary, we had Collin Sundermeier in 1st place and Claire Heneger as our runner-up. At the Junior High, our winner was Gabby Muse, and our runner-up was Sam Richardson. Wish them luck in the County Spelling Bee hosted by Blair School this year.

Fort Calhoun High School welcomed back 12 graduates on January 9th, 2026, for an alumni panel to speak to current juniors about their post-secondary paths. Topics included the alumni’s current career paths (ranging from college to entering the workforce) and what advice they would give the current juniors.  Juniors received valuable information to help plan for life after high school. The event is just one example of how the school prepares its students for college, career, and life. This alumni panel is an event that the school has had the past 3 years and plans to continue to have on an annual basis.  If any alumni are interested in being part of the panel in future years, please contact Mr. Wemhoff, Mrs. Hernandez, or Mrs. Krambeck.

Preschool registration is open from February 1, 2026, to March 1, 2026. It will open at 12:00 AM on February 1st, and the link to the registration form will not be open until then.
