COURSE DESCRIPTION:
American Government is the study of our American political system, analyzing its structure, function, and dependent relationship using the Constitution as our guide. Students will study the citizens’ role in the political system and the effect of their participation. Students will stay current with the political news using the Omaha World-Herald and national magazines. Students will also study in detail the state government of Nebraska.
