On June 29 at 9:00 AM, a special meeting conducted by Fort Calhoun Community Schools will take place at the Pioneer Learning Center (1420 Clark Street). The purpose of the meeting will be to provide an opportunity for parents who have parentally placed their child in an approved an/or accredited non-public school or exempt home school and representatives of non-public schools to participate in the development of a plan for providing special education services to children with disabilities who attend an approved and/or accredited non-public schools and exempt home schools which are within the FCS district for the 2020 – 2021 school year. Parents of a homeschooled child or a child attending a non-public school who has been or may be identified with a disability and attend approved and/or accredited non-public school within the boundaries of FCS, are urged to attend.
