COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course will introduce the student to the world of construction. The student will explore all areas of construction including: blue print reading, operation of basic construction tools, design, estimating, and planning. The class will also cover the various operations of the construction industry including: basic masonry, carpentry practices, framing interior and exterior finishing. The course will involve in-class study, as well as basic lab skill development.
