COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This class is for students with interest in the exciting world of marketing. Topics covered include: economics, consumer markets, market research, distribution methods, product planning, and the four P’s—Produce, Price, Place and Promotion. The course provides an excellent background for students entering any type of business as well as those interested in business administration or marketing as a major in college. Students will also complete a Marketing Plan for a business of their choice. Grading is based on daily assignments, tests, quizzes, and projects.
