COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Physical Science is the introduction to the sciences of chemistry and physics. This course samples a wide variety of topics from both disciplines with an emphasis to real-life applications. Many different laboratory and research skills are involved. Major areas of study include chemical structure and reactions, motion, energy and its uses, and the study of waves. A science fair project is done to emphasize the scientific method.
