COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Intermediate Spanish will review and expand skills obtained at the beginning level. Greater emphasis will be placed on speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish. A variety of Spanish literature is presented at this level. The workbook and CD exercises involve listening-responding, comprehension, reading, and writing for each chapter. Computer games and exercises facilitate learning the language also. Students will continue studying the Hispanic cultural aspects. Also a cooperative project may be completed, relating to the Spanish or Hispanic culture in the world. This course would be helpful for students in all careers.

Grading: Class participation, daily work, quizzes, major projects, tests.

Presentation: Lecture, discussion, film, video, Internet, student presentations, group work performance, student projects, demonstrations, speakers.
